Detroit -104. Justin Verlander matched Francisco Liriano but was let down by a defense that allowed both runs to score on errors, no matter what the official scorer said.

Oakland/Tampa Bay under 8.5. Was over in the top of the third.

Washington/Chicago (NL) over 8. Livan Hernandez shut down the Cubs. I'll stand by both of these picks Monday and Tuesday, even though neither went well.

Seattle +180. Zach Greinke left with a lead. Zach Greinke didn't get the win.

The Mariners went into Kansas City, lost behind Felix Hernandez and still won the series.

Minnesota -126, 1.5 units. Fading Dontrelle Willis. Again.

Chicago (AL) +115, one unit. Fading Scott Feldman. Again.

Baltimore +149, one unit. I would have liked this better had the Orioles not won Tuesday night, as I think there might be value in betting against sweeps. With that said, I'll take Brian Matusz against the Yankees at home at 3-2.

Cincinnati/Houston under 7.5 (-115), one unit. Roy Oswalt seems to be completely healthy and effective again, and I like the matchup of Bronson Arroyo against the poor Astros.
