Picks, 6|FRONTS|15|FRONTS|10

Some people, even professionals, won't pick baseball. They can't handle the swings.

Me, I'm going to keep grinding through interleague play, because stubbornness is next to godliness.

New York (AL) -116, two units. One of the two best teams in baseball, at home with its best starter, a tough matchup against the lefty-heavy opponent who, missing its leadoff hitter, has been a completely different team...and I'm only laying -116? Nothing is free money, of course, but this is likely the best value you'll see with the Yankees all year.

Oakland +115, one unit. Really hemmed and hawed over this one. The line seems far too low for a good, not great, team going on the road against a popular team. I think the linesmakers may have caught on to Trevor Cahill. I'm holding my nose and taking this because Cahill is that good, but it's suspicious.

Seattle/St. Louis under 9.5 (-105), one unit. I wrote in my newsletter that I think the Suppan signing may work out for the Cardinals. Here's me putting money where my mouth is.

Toronto/San Diego over 6 (-105), one unit. Too low a number for the Blue Jays' ability to hit homers.

Leaving the entire state of Ohio just off the board. Rockies, too. Watch them win 4-3 after trailing 3-1 in the eighth.
