Today we interviewed Jeff and Jackie Schaffer, creators of The League which airs every Thursday on FX at 10:30 pm starting September 16. You can listen to it here.

Jeff wrote and directed a lot of the recent Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes (and a bunch of Seinfeld ones, too), and the humor is a cross between that and Superbad, set in the context of a fantasy league. I checked out a couple episodes yesterday, and it was pretty |STAR|wrong|STAR|. As in more wrong than even the worst stuff I've done.

Incidentally I recognized one of the actors in the show from a YouTube clip I saw, Everyday Normal Guy. Jeff also mentions his other seminal work, Show Me Your Genitals. (NSFW)

Full disclosure - we sent them a bunch of RotoWire magazines, which hopefully will appear in the show, and are hoping to cross-promote with them generally, but I don't feel compromised in doing so because it's genuinely funny and worth watching.
