Rationale:  The Rockies last won 2 in a row on May 16 and 17 (against these same San Francisco Giants).  Colorado has scored 3 runs or less in 10 of its last 11 games, and will face Vogelsong, who has allowed 1 run or less in 5 consecutive starts.  In his only career start versus Colorado, Vogelsong held the Rockies to 1 hit and 1 walk over 6+ innings (a 3-0 win at home in May), and has a 0.38 ERA in 4 home games this season.  The Rockies send Jason Hammel, who is 0-4 with a 5.40 ERA over his last 5 starts, to the hill.  He is coming off one of the worst starts of his career, in which he allowed 7 runs and 10 hits in 4+ innings in a 7-1 road loss to the Dodgers.  Hammel is 0-1 in 4 career starts at San Francisco.  Aubrey Huff is hitting .467 (7 for 15) with 2 HR against Hammel.  Andres Torres is batting .444 (7 for 9) with 3 HR off Hammel.  Colorado is 3-11 in their last 14 road games and 4-11 in their last 15 overall.

Braves -115
Atlanta (32-27, 15-14 A); Tim Hudson (4-4, 3.75, 1.10)
Mets (27-31, 14-17 H); R.A. Dickey (2-6, 4.39, 1.48)

Rationale:  The starting pitchers for both teams have been given little run support.  The Braves have scored a total of 5 runs in Tim Hudson's last 4 starts, while the drought has been longer when R.A. Dickey pitches – the Mets have scored 3 runs or fewer in 9 of his 11 starts.  Hudson has had success against New York, winning 5 of his last 6 starts against the Mets while posting a 2.20 ERA.  He's been even tougher in Citi Field, going 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA.  Jose Reyes has been swinging a hot bat and leads the Mets with a .335 average.  His 10 triples are the most in the majors and his 19 steals rank among the leaders.  In his last 9 games, Reyes is hitting .462 with 4 triples, 11 runs and 5 RBIs (but the Mets have won just 4 of those 9 games).  He has had far less success against Hudson, hitting just .267 in 60 ABs against the right hander.  In the Mets favor, Chipper Jones (8 for 20 with 3 HR and 5 RBI in his last 6 games against New York) is scheduled to be rested.  The Braves are 13-7 at Citi Field, and are 10-3 in the last 13 games between these teams.
