Monday's Plays

Took the past few days to regroup and hopefully I can break out of the mini-funk that has my season record currently at 9-5, +$385. There are actually several games I like on today's schedule, but will go with what I am most confident in:

Dodgers +103 over Diamondbacks / Under 9

Bet $100 on each

Any time you can get the team with the best record in the majors as an underdog it has to attract attention. Even without Matt Kemp, the Dodgers continue to win; they are currently on a four game streak. Andre Ethier continues to pick up the slack, hitting .396 over his last 13 games. The Dodgers are 4-1 in Chris Capuano's last five starts and, despite earning his first loss of the season in his last start, he had allowed one run or less in the previous four starts. The Under is 5-2 in his last seven starts and 4-1 in the Diamondbacks last five home games. Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks throw out rookie Patrick Corbin (four major league starts), are 1-7 in their last eight home games and 0-4 in their last four games vs. a left-handed starter. The Dodgers have taken two of three each of the last two times it has visited Arizona.

Other action I like:

Rangers - Mariners Over 6.5

Angels over A's

Mets over Pirates

Good luck!
