DFS Amateur Hour - Tuesday Postscript

I had a bad vibe about Max Scherzer yesterday, but I ignored it in part because both Francisco Liriano and Corey Kluber's starts came with rain-delay risk. It cost me a bit as I invested $55 yesterday and took back $15, for a loss of $40. My bankroll was $1010.10, now it's $970.10.

I actually would have made a profit had I not lost my $25 heads up to Al Zeidenfeld. With Scherzer going, I thought I was drawing dead, but he had Brett Anderson who didn't do much, and it wound up being close after Austin Jackson hit a grand slam. In the end, it wasn't the finest hour for either of us, as he won with a score that any of my five other mediocre lineups would have beaten. I'll keep taking on the pros in $25 heads ups for the time being until it becomes clear (and it might) that I have no business doing so.
