Nembhard announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account
that he will withdraw from the 2019 NBA Draft and return to Florida for his sophomore season.
Despite a strong freshman season as a 36-game starter at point guard, Nembhard was viewed by most outlets as a candidate to go undrafted had he elected to enter the professional ranks. As a result, it's not too surprising he'll return for another season in Gainesville, where he'll look to boost his draft stock while presumably taking on a more prominent role for the Gators in 2019-20. He acted as more of a supporting-cast player in his first year with Florida, averaging 8.0 points, 5.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 triple in 32.9 minutes per contest.
