Morgan committed Friday to transfer to USC, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Morgan impressed as a freshman at Long Beach State this past season, averaging 8.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per contest. He doesn't have the shooting touch to extend defenses, but Morgan proved lethal around the rim in his first collegiate season, knocking down 62.2 percent of his shots from the field in addition to serving as a rim protector. Morgan should challenge for a regular role in the Trojans' frontcourt rotation, though he may have to sit out the 2020-21 season, barring a waiver from the NCAA.
