Waiver Wire Watch: Players to Pick Up Week 4
Week 3 was a mixed bag of results for my recommendations as some of the picks fell down with injuries and others had alright performances. My advice should only get better as we have more data and trends to look at as we get further in the season. As a friendly reminder, make sure to keep up with injury news as this article is posted early in the week. As always, I'll get to any questions or comments you have in the comments section below.
Chad President, QB, Tulsa: Still owned in just 7% of fantasy leagues, President was fantastic in a losing effort versus Toledo. While he only threw for 125 yards through the air, he rushed for 130 yards and had two rushing touchdowns. In three games this season, the sophomore has four rushing touchdowns. This week's opponent, New Mexico, does have a decent rush defense, but that should only help President, who will have to make plays when running backs D'Angelo Brewer and Shamari Brooks are the focus of the Lobos' defensive attack.
Trey Quinn, WR, SMU: Quinn appears to be emerging as the main receiving threat opposite Courtland Sutton with at least four catches in each of the Mustangs' first three games. Quinn is coming off a seven-catch, 116-yard performance in a loss to TCU. If SMU can put up 36 points and 463 yards against the Horned Frogs, it should be able to
