We have some variation between slates for Saturday night, so we'll begin by looking at the common games shared by DraftKings and FanDuel. We'll play cleanup and take care of the outlier games at the conclusion of the article.

TA&M/LSU - 55 percent chance of rain
Top CFB DFS Week 9 Saturday Night Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel
Quarterback
Joey Aguilar,
Tennessee (DK $8,200, FD $10,300) @ Kentucky
I anticipate Kentucky will keep things interesting, and we should see a good dose of Aguilar playing at a high level against the Wildcats. The game has one of the highest projected totals on the slate, and I'll gladly take Aguilar at the slightly inflated cost. He struggled against Alabama in his last game, but Kentucky's secondary isn't at the Crimson Tide's level.
Sam Leavitt,
Arizona State (DK $8,700, FD $9,600) vs. Houston
The Sun Devils bring it for the home crowd, so I think it's an added advantage that the game is in Tempe this weekend. Assuming he plays, I think Leavitt is at a great salary point for FanDuel. I'm surprised that he is more expensive than Aguilar on DraftKings, and that may affect my thinking for Leavitt over there. You can't find a better

I'm surprised that he is more expensive than Aguilar on DraftKings, and that may affect my thinking for Leavitt over there. You can't find a better and more consistent duo than Leavitt and Jordyn Tyson, but Tyson is unavailable this week, and it may send the public away from the quarterback. That could be a mistake against the Cougars. Things haven't gone according to script for Houston's defense. They restricted Texas Tech to field goals with big stops in the red zone a couple of weeks ago, but results have been pretty abysmal otherwise. Leavitt still has a shot to get his squad to the Big 12 title game, but he's got to stay healthy and get past Houston.
Also consider: Grayson James, [LOGO[Boston College (DK $6,200, FD $7,400)
Running Back
Jordan Marshall,
Michigan (DK $6,300, FD $9,000) @ Michigan State
This intrastate rivalry is always tight, but I think Justice Haynes' status may persuade the Wolverines to keep Marshall's snap count high. Although Michigan's remaining schedule is manageable until the final week against Ohio State, there's no need to push Haynes if he isn't 100 percent. He's definitely a play I am considering on DraftKings, but FanDuel's salary doesn't offer us enough contrarian relief to go this route.
Raleek Brown,
Arizona State (DK $7,600, FD $8,400) vs. Houston
While I think Leavitt will do his thing, I believe Brown could blow up against Houston's defense. It's hard to judge the Cougars' run defense based on their most recent opponents, but I think Texas Tech's runners are a good comparison of what Brown could do. The Cougars allowed two 100-yard rushers in that contest, and Brown's success will open things up and allow Leavitt to connect with his less-experienced passers.
Mark Fletcher,
Miami (DK $6,700, FD $8,600) vs. Stanford
The Cardinal have to travel across the country for this one, and I expect the Hurricanes to start pounding on the ground early. Carson Beck had four interceptions in a loss to Louisville, so it makes sense for Mario Cristobal to establish the run game early and take some pressure off his quarterback. I think this game could be a blowout, so CharMar Brown (DK $5,400, FD $7,100) could be a worthwhile play in garbage time.
Also consider: Rueben Owens,
Texas A&M (DK $5,700, FD $8,800) @ LSU
Wide Receiver
I've already mentioned Jordyn Tyson's absence, and I think there's a play to be made with the other receiving options on the offense. It's tough to predict who will step up, but Malik McClain's 6-5 frame will be a very visible target, and tight end Chamon Metayer could also play a large role.
Nick Marsh,
Michigan State (DK $5,600, FD $7,800) vs. Michigan
I think the Wolverines will prevail, but I can easily see Aidan Chiles finding Marsh behind Michigan's secondary while playing from behind. The sophomore already has NFL potential written all over him, and he's outplayed senior Omari Kelly as Chiles' favorite target. I wouldn't discount Kelly completely, but Marsh's salary is low enough for me.
Braylon Staley,
Tennessee (DK $5,800, FD $8,600) @ Kentucky
Aguilar has several weapons to choose from, but Staley's game has really stepped up over the last two contests. He's had 16 receptions for 201 yards and a touchdown over that span. I'm certainly NOT opposed to Chris Brazzell (DK $5,200, FD $9,300), and there are other options sprinkled throughout this roster - I'm going with Staley based on recency data.
Mario Craver,
Texas A&M (DK $5,500, FD $9,200) @ LSU
Craver's recent regression creates a great buy opportunity for us against LSU. The public will flock to KC Concepcion, and while I have no problem with that pick, people have easily forgotten how well Craver was playing earlier in the season. This game against LSU is all about WR/CB matchups, and I think Craver's size and speed are a tougher target for the Tigers to cover. He's certainly a risk-reward pick, but I will take a shot and hope for some upside.
DraftKings-Only Targets
Arkansas State vs.
Georgia Southern
Arkansas State's Jaylen Raynor ($8,600) is a quarterback you can add to your toolkit, and he has more potential than JC French on the other end. Corey Rucker ($6,600) and Chauncy Cobb ($4,600) are stacks to explore if you choose to go with Raynor. I admit I have some internal bias (a fantasy no-no), but I just can't get behind Clay Helton's squad.
FanDuel-Only Targets
Oregon vs.
Wisconsin
Although the weather doesn't look great for this one, FanDuel's portfolio expands significantly with the addition of the Ducks. Dante Moore ($11,200) is a blue-chip QB option, but he might sit after Oregon pulls a big league. We have a little more data about the running backs when the game gets out of hand, and while I'm a fan of Noah Whittington, I think Jordon Davison ($6,200) and Dierre Hill Jr.($7,600) will get more snaps once the game gets out of hand. There's no one for the Badgers that grabs my attention, but that goes without saying. I don't think Moore will need to throw much here, so his wideouts won't rise to the top of my selections.
Wyoming vs.
Colorado State
Samuel Harris ($7,500) has been a dependable rushing and receiving option for Wyoming and is a good budget option to consider for FanDuel. I'm not inspired by other quarterback in this matchup, so I will draw the line at Harris.
