1. Cornerback

Not so long ago, this team signed Nnamdi Asomugh and traded for Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie when they already had Asante Samuel– a supposed dream team in the defensive backfield. That trio failed, however, and the Eagles are scrambling to rebuild. As draft night approaches, the Eagles are set to run Bradley Fletcher and Cary Williams out against RG III, Eli Manning and Tony Romo.

2. Quarterback

No one really knows what new head coach Chip Kelly's offense will look like as he transitions into the pros. A 2003 version of Michael Vick would probably the top choice to run the theorized uptempo attack, but it's 2013. Vick only has a few hits left, and Nick Foles runs like he's wearing cement shoes. Kelly needs to draft the signal caller that will be directly tied to his successful transition. Philadelphia would be lucky to grab E.J. Manuel in the second round.

3. Offensive line

As bad as the Eagles' line was in 2012, injuries are more to blame than talent. Jason Peters and Todd Herremans can anchor the edges if healthy, and both should be. Getting Jason Kelce back at center will be a significant upgrade, too. This is a position where upside and future starters are needed, but the immediate need isn't as dire as fans might think.
