On track in ACL rehab
Penix (knee) is on track in his rehab from ACL surgery, Kevin Brockway of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
ANALYSIS
The Hoosier quarterback underwent successful surgery on his torn ACL in late December. Penix told reporters, "Right now I'm on schedule, if not a little head of schedule," on Monday. It's unclear how much activity Penix will be able to do during spring practice, but he seems to be trending in the right direction to be ready for the start of the season. Penix completed 56.4 percent of his passes at 7.5 YPA in 2020, adding 14 passing touchdowns and four interceptions.
