Ronnie Bell
Wide ReceiverWR
2020 Fantasy Outlook
Despite being a sophomore in an upperclassmen-laden wideout room last season, Bell topped the team in target share (20.9 percent) and finished with a team-high 48 receptions for 758 yards. Bell had a number of plays end inside the five-yard line, so it seems like only a matter of time before Bell’s touchdown total takes a jump. Among the top four players intargets last season, just Bell and Nico Collins remain in the fold after Donovan Peoples-Jones turned pro and Tarik Black transferred. This lack of positional experience heading into 2020 could position Bell for an even larger workload than the 84 targets he garnered last season. If he can slightly improve his catch rate from just 57.1 as a sophomore, Bell could have major things in store for an offense that shouldn’t see a ton of dropoff from Shea Patterson to Dylan McCaffrey (presumably) under center. Top receiver in season opener
October 25, 2020
Bell hauled in four receptions for 74 yards in Saturday's 49-24 win over Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Bell entered the season opener with high expectations after accumulating 758 yards on 48 receptions in 2019. He didn't disappoint against Minnesota as he paced the Wolverines in catches and receiving yards. The junior should have a chance for another strong showing next Saturday against Michigan State.
