Max Duggan
QuarterbackQB
2020 Fantasy Outlook
Duggan's true freshman season was a bit of a rollercoaster as he fended off Alex Delton to start the final six games of the season. While he set school records in passing yards (2,077) and passing touchdowns (15) for a freshman, he also threw 10 interceptions in that six-game stretch where the Horned Frogs went 2-4. What is intriguing about the prospect from Iowa is his legs as Duggan was particularly effective while rushing for 555 yards and six touchdowns on 130 carries. There's some caution here as he did bang up his hand in 2019 due to the volume of running and TCU returns just one offensive lineman on a team that's going to be fairly young all-around. Duggan will be a high-risk high-reward fantasy option for the upcoming season. Read Past Outlooks
Two INTs in season finale
QBTCU
November 30, 2019
Duggan completed 15 of 36 passes for 144 yards with two interceptions to go along with 23 rushing yards in Friday's loss to West Virginia.
ANALYSIS
It was a disappointing finish to Duggan's freshman campaign as he recorded his third game with multiple interceptions. After starting the season with no interceptions in his first six games, he had 10 in his last six games. The young signal caller has been dealing with a finger injury, so that may be part of the blame. In 12 games of action, Duggan completed 59.7 percent of his passes for 2,077 yards and 15 touchdowns with 10 interceptions to go along with 555 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. Duggan's propensity to run the ball will make him an intriguing fantasy prospect next season.
