Wease projects to be the second receiver on Oklahoma's depth chart behind Charleston Rambo after he grabbed eight catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns during his freshman campaign. With CeeDee Lamb departing early to the NFL, Oklahoma and their new projected starter, Spencer Rattler, will have to establish some new receiving threats. When looking at Lincoln Riley's track record with quarterbacks, there's brewing optimism that Rambo and Wease will be able to fill the void and have productive seasons from the receiver position. ANALYSIS
Wease was able to find the end-zone for the first time this season as the sophomore receiver has 28 catches for 401 yards and two touchdowns on 40 targets. He ranks as the second receiver for Oklahoma behind Marvin Mims and ahead of Charleston Rambo. Oklahoma will play at West Virginia next week.
