The Brothers enter the series having split a two-game mid-week series with the Lions. They'll turn to veteran lefty Ariel Miranda as they hope to shut down the Monkeys' potent lineup. Miranda has 223 innings of MLB experience to his name, recording a 4.72 ERA. After spending most of the last two seasons in Japan, he's been excellent in his first three starts in Taiwan, striking out 23 batters in 18 innings while allowing just three runs on 10 hits. None of those starts have come against the Monkeys, however, who have scored 7.9 runs per game. The three-time defending-champion Monkeys, who are coming off a two-game sweep of the Guardians, will turn to another former MLB pitcher, Lisalverto Bonilla. He didn't have much success stateside, struggling to a 6.28 ERA in 57.1 innings. He joined the Monkeys this offseason after spending the last two seasons in South Korea and Mexico. He's struck out 16 batters in 15.1 innings so far this year, though his 4.70 ERA is fairly mediocre.

Lisalverto Bonilla, Monkeys: Ariel Miranda has been excellent, but he's going on the road to face the league's dominant offensive force. It's tough to justify spending a full 17.5 credits on any pitcher facing the Monkeys, even Miranda, making Bonilla the best use of your pitcher slot.
Lin Hung-Yu, Monkeys: Lin is simply on another offensive level compared to the rest of the catchers in the CPBL, as shown by the fact that he regularly hits cleanup for the league's best offense. His price (12 credits) reflects that, but it's hard to say his .404 batting average, three homers and 13 RBI through 11 games isn't worth the cost.
Chang Chih-Hao, Brothers: The Brothers' number three hitter started the season slowly but has been on a tear over his last five games. He's gone 8-for-20 with seven runs and five RBI over that stretch.
Lin Li, Monkeys: The Monkey's powerful offense boasts the three most expensive hitters in the contest in Lin and his teammates Chen Chun-Hsiu and Chu Yu-Hsien. Lin, the team's number two hitter, has been perhaps the best of the bunch, hitting .447 with four steals, 16 runs and 11 RBI through 11 games.
