DraftKings LoL: LCS Friday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings LoL: LCS Friday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings League of Legends series.

Games (EDT)

  • 9:00 p.m. 100 Thieves vs. Golden Guardians
  • 9:45 p.m. Counter Logic Gaming vs. Cloud9

100T vs. GG

It's time for change in the 100 Thieves camp as Meteos and Stunt are not playing with the main LCS team anymore. Contractz will be stepping up in the jungle and a new support from 100 Thieves academy, Poome, will be playing this week in the LCS. Both of these changes for 100 Thieves will benefit them in the long run, but I don't see success coming right away. Golden Guardians have been performing well in the early game, but struggle to close out games although I still think Golden Guardians wins in the end.

Prediction to win: Golden Guardians

Players to Target: FBI ($7,000) Damonte ($6,800)

CLG vs. C9

Cloud9 is on another two-game slate and they will be highly owned on this one for good reason. So far in the 2020 Summer Split, no one has come close to making Cloud9 sweat about losing a game. If you want to take a shot on CLG it's a long one, but CLG should be the lowest-owned team on the slate. Looking at Cloud9, the team's leader in kills and kill participation is Blaber in the jungle. The second leader in kill participation would be Nisqy, so it would be wise to have Blaber and Nisqy rostered Friday. Everyone on Cloud9 is viable though, it's just a near necessity to have those two top performers in ahead of such a cupcake
