The 2025 National Football League regular season is officially underway. For fans of all teams other than the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles, teams that played Thursday and Friday, the season begins Sunday and/or Monday.

We'll take a look at the best prop players for Sunday and Monday in Week 1, as we look to get off on the right foot and build bankroll.

Carolina Panthers at Jacksonville Jaguars Prop Plays

*Best lines at time of writing listed

The Panthers and Jaguars meet Sunday at EverBank Field in Jacksonville to open the season.

If you asked a lot of casual fans, they likely believe Travis Etienne Jr. is the starting tailback. But  Tank Bigsby had a strong training camp and preseason, working his way into the top role.

He was actually Jacksonville's leading rusher in 2024, posting 766 yards and 4.6 per carry with seven rushing scores. He did put the ball on the ground three times, losing one fumble, but he was a lot more explosive and consistent. Etienne had 558 yards in one fewer game, but just 3.7 yards per attempt, and only two scores, while also losing a fumble.

It is expected that the duo will split the backfield chores initially, with the hot hand seeing the most run. Rookie Bhayshul Tuten is also likely in the mix for some touches, but don't fret about that too much. Roll with Bigsby to go Over 43.5 rushing yards, and feel confident in doing so, especially against a Carolina Panthers rush defense which allowed an NFL-high 3,057 rush yards, 5.2 yards per attempt and 24 rushing touchdowns.

Best Prop Pick: Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby Over 43.5 Rushing Yards (-114 at FanDuel)

Arizona Cardinals at New Orleans Saints Prop Plays

The Cardinals travel east of the Mississippi River (barely) to take on the Saints at the Caesars Superdome at 1 p.m. ET.

One interesting nugget which appeared in early August, straight from the mouth of RB James Conner, was that he expected second-year RB Trey Benson to see a bigger role in 2025. It wasn't a beat writer, it wasn't a fan or some rumor site, but it was straight from the mouth of a player. He believes Benson will be a critical part of the offense. While it won't necessarily be a split like Bigsby and Etienne above, or a hot-hand situation, per se, Benson is in line for a bump in responsibilities.

If you believe Conner, and there is no reason not to believe him, Benson could be in line for 10-12 touches at the minimum. His rushing yardage total is very attainable, especially against a New Orleans Saints rushing defense which ranked 31st in the NFL in 2024, allowing 2,404 yards on the ground, 4.9 yards per attempt and 20 rushing scores.

Best Prop Pick: Cardinals RB Trey Benson Over 25.5 Rushing Yards (-114 at FanDuel)

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns Prop Plays

The Bengals and Browns open the season at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland at 1 p.m. ET, and we're going to be with the obvious.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase was selected No. 1 overall in many fantasy football leagues across the nation, and managers expect him to get off to a big start. In Week 1, it should begin with at least one touchdown.

In 2024, Chase posted 11 receptions for 152 yards on 14 targets, and he scored a receiving touchdown in each of the meetings with the Browns. He scored 17 receiving touchdowns in 17 games, too.

Playing Chase as an Anytime TD Scorer is worth a look, as the Browns should have trouble containing him.

Best Prop Pick: Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase Anytime TD Scorer (-135 at FanDuel)

Houston Texans at Los Angeles Rams Prop Plays

We'll roll with another Anytime TD Scorer in the late window, as we keep it simple in Week 1.

Rams RB Kyren Williams was a stud last season, finding the end zone 16 total times (14 rushing, 2 receiving) across 16 games in the 2024 regular season.

In five games against AFC opponents, he scored five rushing touchdowns, too. The Texans were actually a pretty decent defensive unit last season, and should be a top unit in 2025 as well. However, they will have their hands full trying to contain Williams at SoFi Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Look for Williams to get into the end zone, perhaps on a 1-yard plunge, and a multi-score game wouldn't be shocking, either. However, we'll simply stick to one score. If you're interested in rolling the dice, and a bit more adventurous, a two-TD game pays (+500 at FanDuel).

Best Prop Pick: Rams RB Kyren Williams Anytime TD Scorer (-125 at FanDuel)
