2025 Fantasy Outlook
Paschal was thrust into a prominent role at defensive end after Aidan Hutchinson suffered a season-ending leg injury in Week 6 of the 2024 campaign, starting 10 regular-season games after Hutchinson went down. Paschal compiled 21 total tackles, matched a career high with 2.0 sacks and also added a fumble recovery over 14 contests. With Hutchinson back in 2025, Paschal will return to a reserve role, limiting his overall upside. Read Past Outlooks

Paschal (back) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Paschal was designated to return from the reserve/non-football injury list this week, ultimately making his return to practice Wednesday. The team has now opened a 21-day practice window for the 25-year-old to be activated from the NFI list, and if he fails to do so, he'd remain sidelined for the rest of the year.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
It was a forgettable rookie year for Paschal, who missed most of last offseason with a sports hernia injury that delayed his professional debut until Week 6. The second-round draft pick ultimately recorded just 16 tackles, two sacks and four quarterback hits over 10 games. Entering the 2023 season, Paschal has rotated in behind starting defensive ends Aidan Hutchinson and Charles Harris during training camp, so there is hope he could see a huge jump in snaps and counting stats in Year 2.
Paschal could have a big role in Detroit in the years to come, but the second-round rookie has missed most team preparations for the 2022 season due to a sports hernia injury that dates back to his days at Kentucky. Even if he works his way back to the field at some point this fall, Paschal's upside is likely some sort of rotational role as a rookie.
