Trishton Jackson News: Waived by Minnesota

The Vikings waived Jackson on Saturday, Craig Peters of the team's official website reports.

Jackson played five offensive snaps each in Weeks 2 and 3, but did not see the field the following two weeks. Thus, it should not be surprising Minnesota viewed him as expendable in favor of another position on its 53-man roster. The pass catcher could still land back on the team's practice squad assuming he clears waivers.
