2019 Fantasy Outlook
A 14-game starter in 2018, Ebukam collected 40 tackles (25 solo) and three sacks in his second season in the league. He's projected to be ready to return for Week 1 following offseason knee surgery in March, but hasn't suited up for Los Angeles' first two preseason games. Additionally, the Rams have three pass rushers at outside linebacker with Clay Matthews joining the team as a free agent, and Dante Fowler re-signing a one-year deal. Ebukam's upside in IDP settings is likely capped as a result. Read Past Outlooks

Slated to fill in for Matthews
LBLos Angeles Rams
October 8, 2019
Ebukam will start in place of Clay Matthews (jaw) in Sunday's game versus the 49ers, Cameron DaSilva or USA Today reports.
Ebukam still needs to prove himself in a starting role or else he'll be replaced by either Natrez Patrick or Ogbonnia Okoronkwo. Ebukam's the older of the three, however, and he's recorded at least a 49-percent snap share in each game so far. He hasn't shown he can dominate the pass rush like Matthews, though, and that will likely be the determining factor of whether he sticks in the starting role.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Ebukam had a fine rookie season as a depth linebacker, generating 31 tackles and two sacks in 16 games. He's in line to be a starter in 2018 and could be a mid-level contributor with upside on the pass rush. Projecting Ebukam's ceiling in a full season with starter snap counts is difficult, however, so fantasy owners may want to wait and see what he can do.
