2020 Fantasy Outlook
Despite missing eight field goals and five extra points, Gay finished last year as the No. 4 kicker in fantasy scoring, tying for third in both FG and PAT attempts. He went 11 of 14 in the 40-49-yard range and five of eight from 50-plus yards, arguably atoning for his short-range inconsistency. However, the Bucs brought in Ryan Succop in September and he quickly supplanted Gay as Tampa Bay's kicker. Read Past Outlooks

Gay connected on 14 of 16 field-goal attempts and all 16 extra-point kicks through seven regular-season games with the Rams during the 2020 regular season.
ANALYSIS
The second-year kicker was perfect over his final six games connecting on 13 field goals and 10 extra points, including the two postseason contests. Gay was a solid fantasy option to finish the season, and he projects to remain a reliable kicker in most settings to start the 2021 campaign.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
The Buccaneers at least were smart enough to wait until Round 5 in their most recent attempt to draft a kicker. Gay won't have the same leash we saw with 2016 second-round pick Roberto Aguayo, but the rookie does figure to have an edge over veteran Cairo Santos in training camp. Fantasy relevance can't be ruled out after the Bucs finished third in the NFL with 416 yards per game last season.
