2022 Fantasy Outlook
After spending three seasons with the Chiefs, the Bears signed Pringle, who should have a significant role in the offense. He earned most of his snaps in the slot in Kansas City, and if he does the same in Chicago, the 28-year-old could see a solid reception total. It's important to note that he tallied just 42 receptions and 568 yards last year in a pass-happy offense while playing a significant role from Week 10 through the AFC Championship Game. Overall, drafting Pringle as a volume-based depth option in certain formats makes sense. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS

Disappoints in 2022
Pringle caught one pass for five yards in the Bears' 29-13 loss to the Vikings in Week 18, and ended the season with 10 receptions, 135 yards and two touchdowns over 11 games played.
ANALYSIS
Injuries limited Pringle to 11 games, and he never caught more than two passes or gained 40 yards in a game. During the preseason, he missed significant time due to injury, and he certainly missed out on building chemistry with Justin Fields. It also didn't help that Pringle was part of a low-volume passing attack that frequently rotated its wide receivers. The only year of his four-year career in which he surpassed 170 yards was when he caught 42 passes for 568 yards and two touchdowns in 2021 with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. He's now an unrestricted free agent.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2021
2020
Primarily lining up in the slot last season, Pringle turned 323 offensive snaps (including the playoffs) into just 13 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets. On the plus side, he did reel in 76.5 percent of his passes at an average depth of 10.6 yards and did well with the ball in his hands, notching an extra 5.3 yards on average after the catch. That doesn't mean a ton given his small sample size, however, and it's unlikely that his role will grow much in 2021 even with the departure of Sammy Watkins, given that Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson remain ahead of him on the depth chart.
