2025 Fantasy Outlook
After an injury-plagued 2023 campaign, Jones returned to the field as a 16-game starter for Buffalo last year, but his production dipped compared to prior healthy campaigns. In 2024, defensive tackle managed just 23 stops (11 total), including 2.5 sacks, plus one pass defensed. Now heading into the final year of his deal with the Bills, Jones remains a reliable contributor but no longer seems a true difference-maker as an interior run-stopper. Read Past Outlooks

Considered week-to-week
Coach Sean McDermott said Tuesday that Jones (calf) is week-to-week, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Jones was injured in pregame warmups ahead of Monday night's game against the Falcons and was in a walking boot after the loss. With Jones sidelined, Deone Walker and Jordan Phillips picked up the slack alongside Ed Oliver at defensive tackle.

Jones enters his eleventh season in the league and third in Buffalo as a solid starter at one of the team's defensive tackle slots. He is much more of a run stopper than a pass rusher and has led the Bills in run block win rate since he's been with the team. He's coming off of a pectoral injury that ended his 2023 season early but the Bills believed in him enough to reward him with a two-year, $16 million contract in March.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Top free agent priority for Bills?
Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic believes the Bills should make re-signing Jones -- who's set to enter free agency -- the team's biggest priority of the offseason.
ANALYSIS
Jones was one of several Bills defenders who sustained an injury during the 2023 season. Luckily for Buffalo, the 2014 fourth-round pick was able to return from a 10-game absence due to a torn pectoral and played in the team's last four games of the season, two of which came in the postseason. Buscaglia notes that while Jones turned 32 last December, he was by far the best run defender for the Bills, and the team struggled to substitute his production when sidelined. Given Jones' age and injuries, he and the Bills could work toward a short-term deal this offseason and re-evaluate once 2024 is over.
