Jones enters his eleventh season in the league and third in Buffalo as a solid starter at one of the team's defensive tackle slots. He is much more of a run stopper than a pass rusher and has led the Bills in run block win rate since he's been with the team. He's coming off of a pectoral injury that ended his 2023 season early but the Bills believed in him enough to reward him with a two-year, $16 million contract in March.

Buscaglia notes that while Jones turned 32 last December, he was by far the best run defender for the Bills, and the team struggled to substitute his production when sidelined. Given Jones' age and injuries, he and the Bills could work toward a short-term deal this offseason and re-evaluate once 2024 is over.
