Nate Adkins

26-Year-Old Tight EndTE
Denver Broncos
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Adkins finished the 2024 season with just 14 catches on 15 targets for 115 yards and three touchdowns, appearing in all 17 regular season games. Despite finding some success with his limited opportunities, the 25-year-old will likely face a tougher path to meaningful playing time in 2025 with the Broncos' signing Evan Engram this offseason. Engram will undoubtedly operate as Denver's top pass-catching tight end, leaving Adkins to compete with Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull for backup snaps. Read Past Outlooks

Adkins (ankle) was a full participant at practice Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Adkins has been held back to some extent since he underwent a tightrope procedure to address a sprained ankle back in July, but it now appears he's finally back to full strength and ready to make his 2025 debut. If starting tight end Evan Engram (back) is unable to play Sunday against the Chargers, Adkins could be in line for an expanded role.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Adkins joined the Broncos as an undrafted free agent during the 2023 offseason and appeared in 10 games as a rookie. The 25-year-old tight end was minimally involved on offense, catching four of his five targets for 22 yards while playing just 57 offensive snaps. Adkins was more involved on special teams, as he played 97 special teams snaps in 2023. If the 6-foot-3, 252-pounder makes the 53-man roster, he'd likely play a similar role as a special teams contributor in 2024. Ahead of him on the tight end depth chart are Greg Dulcich, Adam Trautman, and Lucas Krull.
