Matlock logged plenty of work as a blocker last year, tallying 333 offensive snaps over 16 regular-season games. He didn't receive any carries and reeled in all four of his targets for 12 yards and a touchdown. Matlock caught both of his targets for five yards during the preseason, but he appears to have suffered an undisclosed injury at some point along the way. The fullback will now be sidelined for at least four contests to open the 2026 campaign, and the earliest he could make his regular-season debut is in Week 5 against the Broncos on Oct. 11.
