Arraignment scheduled for August

Arnold has an arraignment hearing set for August 13 on the felony charges of robbery and kidnapping he's facing after his June arrest, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Arnold is still a free agent after he was waived by Detroit in June and was meeting with other teams earlier this month. If any club is willing to sign him, he seems healthy enough to take the field after undergoing a procedure on his shoulder back in December.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
Arnold stepped right into a prominent role in his rookie season with Detroit, recording 60 total tackles, 10 pass defenses and a fumble recovery over 16 regular-season games. Often drawing the opponent's No. 2 wide receiver while Carlton Davis handled the top threat, Arnold was a significant part of a Detroit defense that ranked fourth best in the NFL in opponent passer rating allowed at 84.0. With Davis leaving for New England in free agency, Arnold now will start opposite offseason addition D.J. Reed in the Lions secondary in 2025, potentially assuming the No. 1 role.
Arnold was selected in the first round (24th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Lions and figures to operate as one of their primary outside cornerbacks in his rookie campaign. The 21-year-old compiled 63 tackles, including a sack, while securing five interceptions, 12 pass deflections and a forced fumble over 14 contests in his final season at Alabama, and he figures to bring a high level of raw skill to Detroit's secondary. Operating with a 6-0, 189-pound frame, Arnold possesses the size to match up well with opposing wide receivers in his debut season in the league.

No electronic monitoring

Arnold, who is in the midst of fighting felony charges of armed robbery and kidnapping, won't be required to wear a GPS tracker while out on bond and can continue working out for NFL teams, Xuan Thai of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The embattled cornerback was released by the Lions in the wake of the criminal case being opened against him, and he is therefore on the hunt for his next NFL employer. Arnold's attorneys were able to successfully argue that having to wear a GPS monitor would prove prohibitive to the third-year pro's efforts to sign with another team while the case is ongoing. Arnold completed a workout with the Texans earlier in the week, and, per his agent Nicole Lynn, he's also received interest from the Jets, Seahawks and Colts.
