NFL Picks: Backing the Jaguars - With Video

This article is part of our NFL Picks series.

It was a strong week overall with two 11-4 showings, and one 10-5. As a result, Stopa leads by two games over Pianow and me. Only one consensus pick this week - the Jaguars.

Enjoy the games.

EricksonToo much chalk on my slate, including my best bet, but I'm the square of this group anyhow. I just am a believer in the AZ defense and I love them at home against Tannehill.
PianowskiWith the officiating thing hopefully settled, the NFL can shift to the next major problem: too many darn stand-alone games with the Baltimore Ravens. How can we fix this? Show me someone else, please.
LissLike a lot of these games but love none.
Stopa I struggled with this slate more than any other so far, so I'll go back to the well with Tampa, fourth straight week. They're only 1-2, but 3-0 ATS, and the losses were close games on road to Dallas and NYG. They're better than Wash (which, despite the RGIII flair, might be the worst team in the NFC), but aren't being treated as such... I like the Dolphins, as I'm not ready to treat the Cardinals as a touchdown favorite - the AZ offense isn't good, and Miami should play close to the vest and keep it close... The Bears are at least as good as Dallas, if not better, so I'll take the half-point hook... Rare that the public isn't on a big home favorite like the Packers. I like the Rodgers eff-you factor here, and that Saints defense is really bad - maybe historically bad.
Del Don I fully expect San Francisco to bounce back with a better effort, and New York is coming off an overtime win, but this is still a pretty significant spread for the west coast team to cover on the road.
