2025 Fantasy Outlook
Buckley was a player to be excited about after his 2022-23 season in which he qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs and made nearly $3 million. That all came crashing down in 2024 when he missed 18 cuts and only had a pair of top-25 finishes. Buckley was able to save everything, however, with a clutch performance at Q-School where he finished second and earned back his PGA Tour card for 2025. The talent is still there with the 28-year-old, but 166th in SG: Total is not going to get it done again. Fifth in SG: APP in Utah
Buckley closed with a two-under 69 on Sunday at the Bank of Utah Championship to finish 11-under and tied for 27th.
ANALYSIS
Buckley hit all but one fairway in regulation and he gained 2.4 strokes on approach during Sunday's final round at the Black Desert Resort, where he ultimately finished fifth among the field in SG: APP and T7 in driving accuracy for the week. He's now made the cut in back-to-back starts, but Buckley lands just 170th in the FedExCup Fall standings.

Through two seasons on the PGA Tour, Buckley's seasons have consisted of clusters where he plays well and ones where he doesn't. Unfortunately, a two of those clusters have come during the fall. On the bright side, one of his clusters came during a five-week stretch in late spring this past year, so there's hope that he can compete against the best competition out there. He didn't play well this past fall though, so that could be a sign of things to come in 2024. At this point, Buckley doesn't appear to be a breakout candidate this season.
