2025 Fantasy Outlook
The future of the Flames' crease is in good hands with Wolf. In his first full NHL campaign, the California-born netminder went 29-16-8 with a 2.64 GAA and a .910 save percentage over 53 games. He started 2024-25 sharing the crease with Dan Vladar, but Wolf's potential quickly earned him a starting role. He's been a winner at every level of hockey, and at 24 years old, he's still got a few years of improvement. His peak is a top-five NHL goalie, though the Flames still need to improve their roster after being one of the lowest-scoring teams last season. Wolf was excellent on thin margins, and he's clearly on the rise -- you have no reason to hesitate if his name is at the top of the draft board when you're on the clock. Read Past Outlooks

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Wolf enters his first full NHL season with the weight of expectations on his young shoulders, but fantasy managers need to be patient with the two-time AHL goalie of the year and AHL MVP from 2022-23. The Flames are rebuilding and the defense will struggle in front of him. Wolf will do better than his 7-7-1, 3.15 GAA and .893 in limited action last season, but stardom won't come until after the Flames move into their new arena in 2027. Wolf's dynasty's value is high, but his single-year merits are average at best. He'll end up splitting time in a platoon with Dan Vladar, and he has a bad team in front of him.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could start again Sunday
Wolf may start Sunday's road game versus the Flyers, Eric Francis of Sportsnet reports.
ANALYSIS
Wolf was pulled from Saturday's contest in Nashville after allowing three goals in the first period. However, it appears the quick hook might have been to save him for the second half of a back-to-back. In any case, with a five-game NHL slate for Sunday, fantasy managers should have plenty of room for Wolf in their lineups.
