Set to fight Charles Oliveira at UFC Sao Paulo
October 3, 2019
Gordon will take on Charles Oliveira in a lightweight matchup at UFC Sao Paulo on Nov. 16, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
Gordon has a 15-3 record as a professional fighter and is coming off a victory over Dan Moret via unanimous decision at UFC Minneapolis in June, and will look to develop a winning streak against Oliveira, who carries a career 26-8 record and has only had one knockout win since 2010. Oliveira has a reach advantage over Gordon, although Gordon carries a slight advantage in striking accuracy.

Cashes in as big favorite Saturday
June 29, 2019
Gordon defeated Dan Moret via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Minneapolis on Saturday.
The two men traded shots early and Gordon did seem to look like the big favorite he was at first, but those notions turned around very quickly. In the second round, Gordon was able to get Moret to his back, where he unleashed a heavy dose of ground-and-pound that would have put away many fighters. Even though Moret's corner was pleading with their fighter to stay off his back in Round 3, Gordon was able to regain the exact same position early in the round. Moret made it interesting with a couple successful scrambles that reversed position for a brief moment, but in the end, Gordon finished the fight in top position. Gordon showed skill on his feet and on the mat, but the most impressive attribute could have very well been his cardio, as his volume never slowed down throughout the course of the fight. The win snaps a two-fight losing streak.
Added to UFC Minneapolis

Gordon will take on Dan Moret on June 29 at UFC Minneapolis, MMA Fighting Newswire reports.
Gordon hasn't returned to the Octagon since suffering a defeat to Joaquim Silva at UFC on Fox 31 in December, but a date has been set for him to do so against Moret in Minneapolis. It was in that outing that he suffered a torn hamstring, but it's unclear how much that ailment has affected his training in the lead up to this announcement. His opponent will be looking for his first UFC victory after losing his first two outings.
Suffers crushing late defeat
December 15, 2018
Gordon lost to Joaquim Silva via TKO (punches) at 2:39 of Round 3 at UFC on Fox 31 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday.
Gordon began the fight well, hurting his opponent in Round 1 but was unable to get Silva out of there. A deep kneebar in the closing seconds of the second frame led to compromised movement for "Flash" which allowed Silva to find his chin and execute a standing TKO. Gordon is lauded for his cardio and work rate but had trouble with the power and grappling acumen of Silva, both of which worked to empty his gas tank. Gordon posted on Twitter after the fight that he tore his hamstring and possibly his LCL, meaning he may be in line for a lengthy period of recovery. Gordon falls to 14-3 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.
Set to fight at UFC on FOX 31

Gordon is booked to fight Joaquim Silva in a lightweight bout at UFC on FOX 31 in Milwaukee on Dec. 15, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
Gordon was riding a five-fight winning streak before falling to Carlos Diego Ferreira via TKO at UFC Fight Night 126 back in February. He still boasts a very impressive 14-2 career record in MMA, but he will have his work cut out for him December with Silva having a 10-1 record of his own. Silva is, however, coming off the first loss of his professional career.
Defeated via TKO in under two minutes
February 18, 2018
Gordon was defeated by Digeo Ferreira via TKO (punches) at 1:58 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Sunday in Austin
Gordon didn't have an answer for Ferreira's aggressiveness in this fight. Ferreira came out early mixing up kicks and punches. After Gordon absorbed two low blows from Ferreira, he tried to get a takedown. Ferreira was able to get back to his feet and then dropped Gordon with a left hook. "Flash" tried to defend on the ground, but Ferreira stepped over into mount and pounded Gordon out.
