Faces potential suspension
FlyweightUFC
March 29, 2021
Robertson has been suspended six months by the Nevada Athletic Commission pending medical clearance from a right hand injury, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Robertson lost to Miranda Maverick via unanimous decision at UFC 260 on Saturday, and Robertson will now undergo an X-ray on her right hand. If the X-ray comes back positive, she'll need to be cleared by a doctor if she hopes to fight within the next six months.
Inconsistent ways continue
FlyweightUFC
March 27, 2021
Robertson lost to Miranda Maverick via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC 260 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was another uneven performance by Robertson, once again led by her complete inability to remain competitive on the feet. Robertson is a legitimate threat on the mat and proved that here in Round 2, but she has no stopping power in her hands and is unable to make up ground if she falls behind on the judges scorecards (as she did on Saturday). Robertson has fought 10 times since making her company debut back in December 2017 and her willingness to constantly step into the Octagon has value for a company which holds an event seemingly every week, but the soon-to-be 26-year-old Canadian is settling in as nothing more than roster depth in one of the UFC's thinnest divisions.
