Struggles continue in Vegas
FlyweightUFC
March 12, 2022
Robertson lost to JJ Aldrich via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was Robertson's twelfth UFC bout and it's safe to say she is what she is at this point. The Canadian has zero history of defeating better competition, in addition to having zero chance of winning fights if her takedowns aren't connecting on a consistent basis. They weren't in this one. Robertson landed just 1-of-6 attempts, good for 24 seconds worth of control time. Robertson's style of fighting is slow and grinding and a prolonged striking battle will always favor her competition. She has lost three of four dating back to December 2020.

Robertson will take on JJ Aldrich on March 12, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Robertson agreed to step in on fairly short notice to replace Ariane Lipski, who withdrew from the fight for undisclosed reasons. Robertson had been riding a two-fight losing streak before turning things around against Priscila Cachoeira in December, earning a submission victory just before the end of the first round. Her opponent, Aldrich, will be looking to secure her third straight win.
Easy win over heavy opponent
FlyweightUFC
December 11, 2021
Robertson defeated Priscila Cachoeira via submission (Rear-naked choke) at 4:59 of Round 1 at UFC 269 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's Robertson's seventh victory at flyweight, placing her second in UFC history behind current champion Valentina Shevchenko. Not only did the win snap a brief two-fight losing streak for Robertson, but she also picked up 30 percent of Cachoeira's purse after the latter missed weight by three pounds on Friday morning. The Canadian still has youth on her side at age 26, but Robertson has very little power in her hands (one career KO win) and no history of defeating better competition. Expect her inconsistent ways to continue moving forward.
