Grounded by Ketlen Vieira

Chiasson lost to Ketlen Vieira via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was originally scheduled to be a bantamweight fight but was switched to featherweight after Vieira had weight-cutting issues. When all was said and done, the switch really appeared to impact Chiasson because she had no answers for the size and brute strength of her opponent. Macy gave up 10:06 worth of control time and spent nearly the entirety of the final two rounds on her back. She simply just didn't generate enough offense to potentially win a decision. Set to turn 34 years old in late-July, this felt like a victory Chiasson -- who entered having won three of four -- had to have.

Chiasson will take on Ketlen Vieira in a bantamweight bout at UFC TBA on Feb. 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Chiasson will look to make it three straight victories after defeating Pannie Kianzad in March and Myra Bueno Silva in June. Her opponent Vieira also has eight career UFC wins, but is coming off a loss to Kayla Harrison and will be hungry to get back on the winning side of the octagon.
Rebounds following slow start

Chiasson defeated Mayra Bueno Silva via TKO (doctor's stoppage) at 1:58 of Round 2 at UFC 303 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It wasn't pretty, but Chiasson will certainly take it in what went off as a pick 'em fight. Macy had a really poor opening frame, absorbing far too much damage from an opponent with below-average striking. Yet, she pushed forward for an early Round 2 takedown and got to mount. Then, she blasted Bueno Silva with an elbow that immediately opened up a massive gash and eventually caused the doctor to stop the fight. It would also go on to earn her a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, one of four awarded on the evening. Set to turn 33 years of age in less than a month, Chiasson has won back-to-back fights but is still just 3-2 in her past five bouts. There's no real reason to think any sort of prolonged winning streak is forthcoming here.
