Will fight in Copenhagen
BantamweightUFC
July 12, 2019
Chiasson will face Lina Lansberg in a bantamweight matchup at UFC Copenhagen on Sep. 28.
ANALYSIS
This classic veteran vs. newcomer matchup features an undefeated Chiasson (5-0), whereas Lansberg is 9-4 since 2012 while fighting professionally. Chiasson won her past two fights by TKO via punches, including a Performance of the Night bonus her last time out. She'll hold big advantages in height (four inches) and reach (seven inches), so get your bets in early before the general public sees the two matched up at weigh-ins. Chiasson also sports superior striking numbers, but has yet to be tested much in terms of wrestling in her three-fight UFC run. While Chiasson projects to enter as the betting favorite, the intangible seem to lie in favor of Lansberg. The Sweden native should have the crowd behind her, plus she is the more experienced fighter. Chiasson is almost a decade younger, however, and has career momentum on her side.

Comes through as massive favorite
BantamweightUFC
May 4, 2019
Chiasson defeated Sarah Moras via TKO (punches) at 2:22 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Ottawa.
ANALYSIS
Chiasson needs to be fighting better competition than Moras. She entered the night as by far the biggest favorite on the card at -700 and one massive combination from side control put an end to Moras's evening. Chiasson barely made the 136-pound bantamweight limit on Friday and given the disturbing lack of depth in the UFC women's featherweight division, Chiasson's long term future may very well be at 145 pounds. She's a threat regardless.
Replaces Letson at Ottawa
BantamweightUFC
April 3, 2019
Chiasson has taken Leah Letson's spot against Sarah Moras on May 4 at UFC Ottawa.
ANALYSIS
No immediate reason was given as to why the switch was made for the bout, but it's not Chiasson's responsibility to try and figure out a way to take down Moras. She'll try and take the opportunity to expand on the reputation she's earned early in her career as a skilled fighter following her conquest during season 28 The Ultimate Fighter in November.
Rolls over Gina Mazany
BantamweightUFC
March 2, 2019
Chiasson defeated Gina Mazany via TKO (strikes) at 1:49 of Round 2 at UFC 235 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Easy work. While a victory over Mazany means little in the grand scheme of things, Chiasson continues to look strong inside the octagon. She's athletic, she moves well, and as she showed on Saturday, she has legitimate pop in her hands. Chiasson won season 28 of The Ultimate Fighter in November by submitting an over matched Pannie Kianzad and given that Mazany is no better than Kianzad, the UFC will be forced to give Chiasson a much better opponent her next time out. She has real skills.
Meeting Gina Mazany in March
BantamweightUFC
December 24, 2018
Chiasson will square off against Gina Mazany in a bantamweight bought at UFC 235 on March 2, Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Chiasson is coming off a victory via submission in the second round of The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale in November. Mazany, her first UFC opponent, has lost two of her first three fights since joining the promotion, most recently losing by unanimous decision to Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night 130 in May.
Wins TUF featherweight crown
BantamweightUFC
November 30, 2018
Chiasson defeated Pannie Kianzad via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:11 of Round 2 at The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale in Las Vegas on Friday.
ANALYSIS
It was clear from the outset that Chiasson wanted to keep the fight in clinch range to avoid the more polished striking of her opponent but it was the 27-year-old who ended up dropping her veteran challenger with a barrage of strikes in the second round, leading to the finish. With just three professional fights under her belt, Chiasson is understandably raw, but shows a good, diverse skill set, which could make her someone to look out for in the featherweight division.
