Booked for July 24
BantamweightUFC
April 6, 2021
Chiasson will take on Aspen Ladd on the July 24 card, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Chiasson has earned victories in five of her first six fights within the UFC ranks and sports an 7-1-0 mark overall, while her opponent checks in with very similar resumes at 9-1-0 (4-1-0 in UFC). Chiasson's last three fights have all gone the distance, so she may aim to take advantage of her five-inch height and six-inch advantages to just outstrike her opponent.

Chiasson defeated Marion Reneau via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Vegas 22 on Saturday.

She hurt Reneau multiple times during the round and ended in top position. During Round 3, it was competitive during the beginning and middle. Still, Macy secured a trip takedown that secured her top position for the rest of the round, where she landed significant damage.
Fight rescheduled again
BantamweightUFC
February 21, 2021
Chiasson's fight against Marion Reneau will now take place March 20 instead of Feb. 27, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Reneau announced the date change on her Instagram as it will be the second time this month the fight has gotten moved. The two were originally supposed to meet Feb. 6 but Reneau tested positive for COVID-19 a few days before so the UFC pushed it back another three weeks. The reasoning for it being rescheduled again has not been revealed as Chiasson will now have to wait about another month before she enters the Octagon for the first time in over a year.
