Evloev is scheduled to face Ilia Topuria in a featherweight fight at UFC 270 on Jan. 22 in Anaheim, Marcel Dorff of reports.
Evloev (15-0-0) will put his undefeated record on the line in January after he reeled off his fifth UFC win over the summer, when he defeated Hakeem Dawodu in a unanimous decision. Topuria (11-0-0) is also unbeaten, with three wins to his name since joining the promotion just over a year ago.

Wrestling leads to easy win
June 12, 2021
Evloev defeated Hakeem Dawodu via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27) at UFC 263 on Saturday in Glendale, Arizona.
Evloev had to survive a split decision against Nik Lentz this past January in order to retain his undefeated record, but there were no such concerns following this effort. Blessed with an overwhelming edge in the grappling game, Evloev landed 7-of-9 takedown attempts and racked up 8:10 worth of control time over the course of the first two rounds alone. Dawodu did pick up the pace in the striking game during the final frame, but Evloev was never really in trouble. Just 27 years of age and the owner of an elite wrestling game, there don't figure to be too many featherweights dying to get into the Octagon against Evloev. He is now a perfect 5-0 with the UFC.
Fight set for June
March 15, 2021
Evloev will fight Hakeem Dawodu in a featherweight bout at UFC 263 on June 12, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
This is a major bout, as both Evloev and Dawodu are undefeated at the UFC level, sporting records of 4-0 and 5-0, respectively. All of Evloev's victories have come via decision; four of Dawodu's five wins were by decision as well.
Survives to remain undefeated
January 23, 2021
Evloev defeated Nik Lentz via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC 257 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
This one didn't come easy for the undefeated Evloev, and it was especially difficult when you take into account he entered as the biggest favorite on the card at -705. The truth of the matter is that he was in pretty good shape for a good portion of the fight outside of Round 1, where Lentz threatened with a deep guillotine choke. Evloev managed to survive that and easily outclassed Lentz on the feet the rest of the way. The soon-to-be 27-year-old Evloev would appear to be an especially bright prospect, but all four of his UFC victories have come via decision, and that could potentially be a cause for concern moving forward.
Steps in for Grundy at UFC 257
January 10, 2021
Evloev is slated to face Nik Lentz in a featherweight fight Saturday at UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi after Mike Grundy withdrew from the bout when one of his team members tested positive for COVID-19, Mike Heck of reports.
Evloev was previously scheduled to fight Dec. 5 in Las Vegas, but the bout was cancelled after he tested positive for COVID-19. The 26-year-old has since recovered from the virus and will step in as a short-notice replacement for Grundy, whom Evloev coincidentally defeated in his last trip to the Octagon back in July on Fight Island.
Saturday's fight scrapped
December 5, 2020
Evloev's scheduled fight against Nate Landwehr at UFC Vegas 16 on Saturday was canceled, Mike Heck of reports.
The fighters won't enter the Octagon on Saturday after Evloev reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. It's unclear whether Evloev is experiencing symptoms, and a return timetable for the 26-year-old hasn't yet been established.
