Gets back in win column
April 17, 2021
Hubbard defeated Dakota Bush via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It ended up being a fairly easy victory for Hubbard after he struggled the first five minutes. One would think a large portion of the turnaround in this fight was the fact was the result of Bush's poor cardio due to the fact he accepted the bout less than a week ago, but Hubbard deserves credit for getting his grappling going over the course of the final ten minutes and keeping Bush pinned to the mat. Hubbard hadn't had a single successful takedown in his previous three fights prior to Saturday. The 29-year-old Colorado native and Elevation Fight Team product has now alternated losses and wins in his first half dozen bouts with the company.

April 12, 2021
Hubbard (12-5-0) is now scheduled to face Dakota Bush (8-2-0) in a lightweight fight at the UFC's upcoming event Saturday in Las Vegas, Marcel Dorff of reports.

Not fighting Levy
April 11, 2021
Hubbard won't be fighting Natan Levy at UFC Vegas 24 on April 17 after Levy was forced to withdraw due to a recurring injury he's been experiencing, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
Hubbard hasn't fought since losing to Joe Solecki via submission (Rear-Naked Choke) in Round 1 at UFC Fight Night back in late August and is looking to get back to .500 with a win. Fortunately for him, the UFC has already found a replacement, according to Marcel Dorff of MMADNA; however, it hasn't been revealed yet who his new opponent will be.
Set to fight in April
February 22, 2021
Hubbard will fight Natan Levy in a lightweight bout April 17, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
Levy will be making his UFC debut after going 6-0 at the MMA level before earning a contract back in November. Meanwhile, Hubbard has been inconsistent at the UFC ranks, putting together a 2-3-0 record. His most recent fight was a loss via submission to Joe Solecki. Levy is considered a submission specialist.
Inconsistent ways continue
August 22, 2020
Hubbard lost to Joe Solecki via submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:51 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Hubbard could not have been any less effective if he tried. After getting popped on the feet a half dozen times by Solecki in the early going, Hubbard allowed his opponent to eventually take his back from a standing position and that was all she wrote. "Thud" appeared to be in great shape heading into this one, but his performance simply wasn't where it needed to be. The 28-year-old Colorado native has an excellent frame (5-foot-10) the division, but consistency has been a major issue for Hubbard. He has now alternated wins and losses in his first five UFC bouts.
