Malecki will face off against Tracy Cortez in a bantamweight matchup on Oct. 10 at a location yet to be announced, Nolan King and Mike Bohn of MMAJunkie.com report.
ANALYSIS
Malecki made her professional debut and UFC debut in the same fight, which was a win over Duda Santana in June 2019. She followed up with another win in March, defeating Veronica Macedo by unanimous decision. Cortez won her UFC debut in November, defeating Vanessa Melo by unanimous decision. She is 7-1 overall.

Malecki defeated Veronica Macedo via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Brasilia, Brazil.
ANALYSIS
It wasn't a masterpiece but it did result in Malecki's second consecutive victory to begin her UFC career. Malecki began to find her footing after an extremely slow start. Part of her success was the result of Macedo quickly and badly gassing out, but Malecki deserves credit for finally figuring out how to use her massive size edge to her advantage. Malecki's greatest attribute is her 5-foot-11 frame. She's neither a technical nor physical fighter but any woman that tall in the flyweight division is worth keeping an eye on. It's more likely than not that Malecki -- with four pro fights under her belt -- will begin to struggle when the competition level begins to rise, but she has started her run with the company hot.

Malecki will take on Veronica Macedo (illness) in a bantamweight bout at UFC Brasilia on March 14, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Malecki will head back into the Octagon after defeating Duda Santana via submission (rear-naked choke) in her UFC debut in June. Malecki has shown to be effective in striking in the past but looked overpowered in her fight against Santana until a sloppy takedown attempt by Santana allowed Malecki to take an advantage. Macedo will make her return to the bantamweight dividison after fighting as a flyweight in past fights. She was pulled off two cards at the end of 2019 due to an illness, but she picked up her first UFC win in August when she defeated Polyana Viana via submission (armbar) at UFC Uruguay, bringing her UFC record to 1-3. Macedo has a low striking volume, but Malecki has shown to have some issues with passivity in the past. Malecki carries a significant height advantage over Macedo.
Shifts momentum on the ground

Malecki defeated Duda Santanna via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:59 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night 153 in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Malecki came into this fight with the striking pedigree but it was Santanna who was having all the success on the feet early. Malecki's turnaround is owed almost entirely to a sloppy takedown attempt from her opponent which allowed her to take mount. From there, Malecki showed an impressive ability to float on top before findng the choke. While this was a nice win, we have seen Malecki show passivity before in her young career. This is something she will need to overcome to succeed in the UFC. Malecki improves to 3-0 in professional MMA as a result of the win.

Malecki will make her UFC debut in a featherweight matchup against Duda Santana at UFC Stockholm on June 1, Marcelo Barone and Raphael Marinho of Combate.com report.
ANALYSIS
Malecki is just 2-0 as a professional under the banner of Excite Fight, but will sign on with the UFC as the promotion looks to add depth to its women's featherweight division. Fight fans may recognize her as a contestant on The Ultimate Fight 28 last June. She'll have a hometown crowd behind her going up against an equally inexperienced fighter in Santana, who is 3-0 under the banner of WOCS.
