Daukaus will take on Aleksei Oleinik on the Feb. 20 card, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Daukaus is coming off his second KO in as many fights but will face a slightly lighter heavyweight this time around who sports both a four-inch longer reach and a track record of finishing off fights on the mat. Daukaus will need to work his way in close enough to land punches on Oleinik while also avoiding a takedown that could spell trouble for him.
Another huge KO to begin UFC run

Daukaus defeated Rodrigo Nascimento via KO (punches) at 0:45 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
That's two first-round knockout wins for Daukaus in the span of less than two months to begin his UFC run. Saturday's stoppage was a thing of beauty. He connected with move massive right hand that floored the Brazilian before jumping on top of him and unleashing a flurry of strikes that resulted in the fight being stopped. Daukaus isn't particularly athletic and there's legitimate concern he's going to struggle in anything other than a stand-up brawl, but his power is clearly legitimate. He's also had a speed advantage due to facing some more plodding heavyweights, but that won't always be the case. Nonetheless, his efforts here will earn him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. That may become a regular thing, as nine of his ten career victories have come via knockout.

Huge KO in company debut
HeavyweightUFC

August 15, 2020
Daukaus defeated Parker Porter via TKO (strikes) at 4:28 of Round 1 at UFC 252 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was a strong showing for Daukaus in his company debut against a clearly inferior opponent. Recognizing Porter was either unable or unwilling to move his feet, Daukaus continued to string together combinations. The one that ended the bout included a few punches followed by a massive knee. The fight was clearly over but referee Herb Dean -- who has had a rough last few months -- allowed Porter to absorb a handful of unnecessary shots. We'll see how Daukaus looks against a better opponent his next time out.
