No-shows Baku defeat
BantamweightUFC
June 21, 2025
Mullins lost to Daria Zhelezniakova via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Baku, Azerbaijan.
ANALYSIS
This was a rematch of a November 2022 fight which Mullins won via first-round knockout. She was unable to come remotely close to replicating that success here. Mullins landed one successful takedown in each round, but did next to nothing with her positional advantage. On the feet, she was hopelessly outclassed by Zhelezniakova, leading to the lopsided unanimous decision defeat. With just nine career bouts her under belt at age 33 and a loser in two of her three UFC appearances, there's little reason to be excited about Mullins moving forward.

Mullins will take on Daria Zhelezniakova at UFC Baku on Jun. 21, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Mullins has finally booked her next octagon appearance after a solid win over Klaudia Sygula via TKO back in November. The English bantamweight currently sports a 2-1 UFC record and 7-1 professional record, and she'll take on Zhelezniakova who is 1-1 in the UFC and 9-2 overall.
Stoppage win after weight miss

Mullins defeated Klaudia Sygula via TKO (punches) at 1:20 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was an easy win for Mullins against a debuting, late-notice opponent. That's the good news. The bad news is that her strong work inside the octagon is largely negated by the fact she missed weight by a pound on Friday morning. Mullins simply outmuscled Sygula and forced her to the mat on multiple occasions. She was eventually able to flatten her out early in Round 2 and unloaded with countless, unanswered blows. The 33-year-old Brit has alternated wins and losses in her first three UFC bouts.

Mullins will now fight Klaudia Sygula at UFC Vegas 100 on Nov. 9, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Montserrat Rendon pulled out of the fight for undisclosed reasons, so Mullins will instead match up against Sygula, who will be making her UFC debut in November but boasts the same record as Mullins in professional MMA (6-1-0).
Slated to face Rendon

Mullins will take on Montserrat Rendon in a bantamweight showdown at UFC Vegas 100 on November 9, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Mullins is coming off a tough loss to Nora Cornolle back in April, dropping her UFC record to 1-1-0. She'll get a chance to get back in the win column against Rendon, who also has just two career bouts with the promotion. Both fighters will be looking to right the ship, as Rendon most recently lost to Darya Zheleznyakova via unanimous decision in March.
Falls as biggest favorite on card
BantamweightUFC

Mullins lost to Nora Cornolle via TKO (strikes) at 3:06 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Getting knocked out as the biggest favorite on the card (-390) after missing weight a day prior is a very bad look for Mullins. The lone saving grace is that Cornolle missed weight, as well. On the heels of a competitive Round 1, Mullins ate a knee to the gut before being finished off with some follow-up strikes. The 32-year-old Brit won her UFC debut over Irina Alekseeva last October, so her roster spot isn't in jeopardy, but Mullins needs to get the weight cutting issues under control. Two pounds is a substantial miss.
