ANALYSIS
Entering having lost back-to-back bouts and three of her last four, Cornolle was likely fighting for her job here. She did a nice job of picking up a boring decision win, aided by Sygula along the way. RecognizIng her significant strength and physicality edge, Nora constantly tried to get this fight to the clinch and Sygula was game for some odd reason. The position allowed Cornolle to either score control time along the fence or in a couple instances, muscle her way into a takedown. It ended up being enough. The victory should ensure the 36-year-old will get another shot with the company.
