Eye was recently hospitalized due to an allergic reaction and is presumed to be out of her Nov. 13 fight against Andrea Lee, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With all signs pointing to Eye sitting this one out, John Morgan of USA Today is reporting that a verbal agreement is in place for Cynthia Calvillo to step in and take her place. It's unclear what's next for Eye, who is riding a three-fight losing streak and is winless dating back to December of 2019.

Eye lost to Jennifer Maia via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC 264 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's Eye's third straight defeat and her fourth in her past five fights. Going back a tad further, Eye is 4-8 dating back to July 2015. It's ugly no matter how you slice it, but this was actually one of her better performances. Entering as a +170 underdog, Eye did a decent job of taking the center of the octagon and controlling the pace of the fight. She was also hampered by a massive gash on the center of her forehead that was caused by an accidental headbutt in Round 2. Eye's two greatest issues are the fact she is a one-dimensional boxer and has zero stopping power in her hands. It's a bad combination and one that is not going to improve no matter how many times the UFC runs her back out there. Eye turns 35 years of age later this month.
Draws Maia in July

Eye is being targeted for a fight with Jennifer Maia at the UFC event scheduled for July 10, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Eye bounced back from a lopsided loss to Valentina Shevchenko with a victory over Viviane Araujo, but has since dropped back-to-back bouts to Cynthia Calvillo and Joanne Calderwood. She likely needs a victory against Maia to stay relevant in the division, as Maia is coming off a Shevchenko fight as well, though she managed to take her all five rounds. The biggest knock on Eye is her lack of finishing ability, as outside of the Shevchenko fight, her other 10 fights dating back to 2015 have gone to the judges. She does have slightly higher striking volume than Maia on paper, however, in addition to two-inch advantages in both height and reach.

Eye lost to Joanne Calderwood via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC 257 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
It's a step in the right direction for Eye because she missed weight after missing in her previous two bouts, but the end result was her third defeat in her past four fights. In what was essentially a 15-minute kickboxing match, Eye looked reasonably strong in the clinch and in the exchanges along the fence. When the two women separated, she was done. It was an identical effort from what we have seen from Eye countless other times during her seven-plus years with the company. She's tough and gritty with extremely limited technical skill. While the UFC continues to give Eye big fights, the truth if the matter is that she has made virtually no improvements over the past many years. Now 34 years of age and sporting a 5-8 career record with the company, the days of Eye being any sort of title threat in any division have come and gone.
Takes on Calderwood on Jan. 23

Eye will battle Joanne Calderwood in a flyweight matchup at UFC 257 on Jan. 23, MMA DNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Eye will be entering the ring most recently losing to Cynthia Calvillo via unanimous decision in June, while Calderwood is coming off a loss as well to Jennifer Maia via submission (armbar) on Aug. 1 in Las Vegas. The two will physically match up almost identically, but Eye will be giving up major statistical edges in both striking and grappling. Oddsmakers list her as a slight betting underdog of (+100) as of early-January.
