Perez (jaw) will compete against Darya Zheleznyakova in a bantamweight fight at UFC Paris on Sept. 28, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Wins close but clear decision

Perez defeated Joselyne Edwards via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 302 on Saturday in Newark.
ANALYSIS
Perez likely thought she would be able to dominate this fight with her grappling, but work on the ground proved a bit of a challenge, which forced Perez to stay at range. "Fiona" did surprisingly good work in the pocket against a lifelong kickboxer, which was capped by a spinning back fist that sent Edwards to the canvas in Round 2. While it was a victory for Perez, this was her second fight in a row in which she had to work incredibly hard against lower-level competition. She will need to get better at dictating fights to avoid the danger she generally faces late. She moves to 10-2 in professional MMA due to the victory,

Secures second straight win
BantamweightUFC

Perez defeated Lucie Pudilova via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Perez had to work considerably harder in this fight than in her lopsided unanimous decision win over Ashlee Evans-Smith this past July. She again relied on her wrestling game, scoring a couple takedowns for 8:15 worth of control time over the course of the first two rounds alone before Pudilova pinned her to the mat for nearly all of Round 3. There was no doubt Perez was going to get her hand raised, but this wasn't a dominant performance against a lower-level opponent. Ailin has won two straight on the heels of a submission defeat to Stephanie Egger in her company debut back in September 2022.
Will fight at UFC Vegas 82
BantamweightUFC
September 15, 2023
Perez has been booked against Lucie Pudilova at UFC Vegas 82 on Nov. 18, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
After losing her debut fight in the UFC to Stephanie Egger, Perez bounced back with a dominant unanimous decision over Ashlee Evans-Smith. She will look to carry that momentum into her bout with Pudilova, who is also 1-1 in the company and coming off a controversial loss to Joselyne Edwards.
