Perez had to work considerably harder in this fight than in her lopsided unanimous decision win over Ashlee Evans-Smith this past July. She again relied on her wrestling game, scoring a couple takedowns for 8:15 worth of control time over the course of the first two rounds alone before Pudilova pinned her to the mat for nearly all of Round 3.
