Entering as a healthy -200 favorite, Petrovic didn't show much in her UFC debut. She attempted a half dozen takedowns, landing two of them, but it was Carolina that ended the bout with a 5:45 to 4:11 edge in control time. In terms of total strikes landed, Petrovic found herself trailing by a 112-77 count. Ivana entered the evening with victories in each of her first six professional bouts, including five via stoppage, but this performance doesn't give much hope she will be able to make a significant impact at the highest level.
