Takes decision in Atlanta opener
FlyweightUFC
June 14, 2025
Horth defeated Vanessa Demopoulous via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Horth agreed to this opponent change a little over a week ago following the withdrawal of Tereza Bleda (undisclosed) and ended up having no issues. She simply used her massive size advantage to pick Demopoulous apart at distance. Horth closed with a 115-44 edge in total strikes landed, in addition to connecting on a pair of takedowns. Horth is inexperienced with just 10 professional fights under her belt at age 35, but she's big and strong for the division and has proven an ability to consistently handle fringe-roster opposition. Horth has alternated wins and losses in her first five UFC bouts.
Late opponent change
FlyweightUFC
June 4, 2025
Horth will now take on Vanessa Demopoulos at UFC Atlanta on June 14 following the withdrawal of Tereza Bleda (undisclosed), Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The bout is presumed to be contested at flyweight, as originally planned, so Horth should have a bit of a size advantage against Demopoulos, a natural stawweight taking this bout on short notice. In fact, she'll have five inches in height and seven inches in reach over her opponent, on paper. Demopoulos has also lost back-to-back fights, while Horth is looking to bounce back from a loss of her own to Miranda Maverick in December.
Looks to bounce back vs. Belda

Horth will take on Tereza Bleda in a bantamweight bout at a UFC event in Atlanta on June 14, per Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com.
ANALYSIS
Horth is coming off a loss at the hands of Miranda Maverick, dropping her fourth UFC bout via unanimous decision back in December. That dropped her record to 2-2 in the promotion, and she'll be looking to get back on the winning side of the Octagon and start a winning streak. Her opponent Bleda (1-1 UFC) is less experienced but has two inches of height and five inches of reach on Horth.
Inconsistent ways continue
FlyweightUFC
December 15, 2024
Horth lost to Miranda Maverick via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Tampa, Florida.
ANALYSIS
Stepping in for Tracy Cortez (undisclosed) and fighting for the second time in six weeks, Horth held her own as a ridiculous +600 underdog. She won Round 2 on all three scorecards to even things up, only to allow a Round 3 takedown which allowed Maverick to cruise to the win from top position. Set to turn 35 years of age next March and with all of nine professional bouts under her belt, including four (2-2) in the UFC, Horth's long-term ceiling is quite limited.
Filling in for Cortez

Horth will fight Miranda Maverick at UFC Tampa on Dec. 14, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
After taking down Ivana Petrovic on Saturday, Horth will be returning to the ring for the second time in six weeks as a replacement for the injured Tracy Cortez (undisclosed). Horth is 2-1 since joining the UFC but will be facing an opponent who has won each of her last three bouts.
