This fight went off as a pick 'em and played out that way the entire 15 minutes. Unfortunately for Herbert, there would be no home cooking for the Brit. A striker by trade, it would have been nice to see Jai be more aggressive on the feet. He was the better man when he went first, but he didn't go first enough. If you said Herbert stuffed all six of Padilla's takedown attempts before the fight, you would have thought he would be in great shape to emerge victorious. Set to turn 37 years of age in May, Jai has just a single win (1-2-1) dating back to July 2022.
