The 27-year-old Brazilian prospect began her career as a decorated jiu-jitsu practitioner before making the move to MMA in 2020. Amorim has torn through every bit of competition she's faced since, starting her pro career with an undefeated 6-0 record, recording all six victories by first-round finish (five submissions, one TKO). She quickly ascended to become the LFA strawweight champion, with her most recent bout coming in September, when she submitted Ashley Nichols
with an armbar with only 21 seconds remaining in the round. The UFC has yet to confirm the signing or set a date for her first fight.
