Looking to bounce back in a major way, Kris will take on a new challenger, Malcolm Wellmaker, who is coming off his UFC debut and displayed potential after winning by K.O. in Round 1. The 32-year old will be required to give his best performance since debuting if he wants to continue getting opportunities from the company for future showings.

Moutinho lost to Guido Cannetti via TKO (punches) at 2:07 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

In further proof it's impossible to predict what will happen in this sport, Cannetti -- who is nowhere near the talent O'Malley is -- got him out of there with just 28 strikes landed in this one. The UFC generally gives fighters a third opportunity with the company even if they come up short in their first two bouts, but Moutinho may be the rare exception due to how little he has shown thus far. There's nothing to see here.
