Out of fight with medical issues
Vidal (undisclosed) has withdrawn from Saturday's bout against Hailey Cowan, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Vidal is dealing with medical issues and will not be able to fight. This fight was thrown together pretty late as it is, but this issue will removed a fight from UFC San Antonio's card. It's unclear why Vidal will be able to return to competition.

Set to face Cowan on Saturday
Vidal is set to take on Hailey Cowan at UFC San Antonio on March 25, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Vidal had a POTN-winning knockout in her UFC debut against Ramona Pascual last February and has won her last six professional bouts. She now draws the debuting Cowan -- a product of DWCS -- in a late addition to the card set to open up the early prelims. As of the start of fight week, Vidal finds herself approximately a (+115) betting underdog.

Knockout win in UFC debut
Vidal defeated Ramona Pascual via TKO (knee) at 3:06 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
The debuting Vidal had zero issues with her heavy opponent in her company debut. Neither woman got a heck of a lot going in the first few minutes of the fight, but Vidal eventually was able to push forward and connect with a pair of knees, first to the head and then to the body, finishing off Pascual in the process. It was the first knockout victory of Vidal's brief, eight-fight professional career, and it came in her biggest bout to date. Vidal has theoretical upside because she turned just 24 years of age this past July, but we need to see her against a bit better competition in order to get a feel for just how high her ceiling actually is. In the meantime, she'll take home one of four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses for her efforts here.

Facing heavy opponent in debut
Vidal will receive 20 percent of Ramona Pascual's purse for Saturday's bantamweight bout after Pascual missed weight Friday, John Morgan of The Underground reports.
ANALYSIS
Pascual tipped the scale at 137 pounds and won't make another attempt, so Vidal will take home some additional cash as she makes her UFC debut. Vidal holds a 6-1 professional record and will look to earn her first UFC victory against Pascual, who is trying to avoid a third consecutive loss in the Octagon.

Set to make UFC debut
Vidal will make her UFC debut in a featherweight matchup with Ramona Pascual on Nov. 5, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Vidal will look to start her UFC career off with a bang when she takes on Ramona Pascual in November. The 5-foot-5 fighter holds a 6-1 record in MMA fights, and she will be matched up against a fighter in Pascual who is also looking for her first win in the UFC.
