Ashmoz defeated Sam Patterson via KO (punches) at 1:15 of Round 1 at UFC 286 on Saturday in London.
ANALYSIS
Ashmoz entered with all of six professional fights under his belt, none of which had come with the UFC. He appeared to be about half Patterson's size but was still somehow able to get his opponent off balance and crack him with a sweeping left hook which sent him crumbling to the mat. Ashmoz immediately seized the opportunity and fired of countless follow-up strikes which earned him the stoppage win. Nothing in Ashmoz's background suggests this will be the start of a prolonged winning streak for the soon-to-be 28-year-old Israeli, but it was a terrific start to his UFC run.

Ashmoz has signed with the UFC and will make his company debut in a lightweight matchup against Sam Patterson at UFC 286 on March 18, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
