Recent RotoWire Articles Featuring Myatt Snider
Chase Briscoe is the hottest driver in the series at the moment and is an obvious top pick for C.J. Radune this week.
The series will try something new, racing on the road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Justin Allgaier could do well with his previous Xfinity road course wins at Mid-Ohio and Road America.
Noah Gragson has two wins this year, and his sixth-place finish at this track last season should make him a top fantasy selection this week.
Justin Allgaier, who tops C.J. Radune’s Lower-Risk Lineup, will start Saturday's race in 12th and has six top-10 finishes from nine series starts at Talladega.
Austin Cindric, who is still searching for his first win of the season, leads C.J. Radune’s Lower-Risk Lineup.
Past Fantasy Outlooks
Snider made a pretty big splash in his full-time debut last season. He raced the No. 13 Ford to three Top-5 and eight Top-10 finishes, and came home a surprising ninth in the final driver standings. Consistency was good with this driver and team, but they didn't lead a lot of laps (55 for the season) and consequently weren't in the running to win any races. Snider and crew chief, Rich Lushes, will look to improve in their second season together, and they almost certainly will with ThorSport equipment and support. This driver is one of the up-and-coming faces in the sport, and he just needs more seat time.
Right now this is an empty seat, however, it is for one of the stronger multi-truck teams in the series. ThorSport Racing had Cody Coughlin in this ride last season, but he struggled to achieve much success. He raced to just three Top-10 finishes during the year and wound up a distant 13th in the final driver standings. This team has a good amount of potential as driver Cameron Hayley showed in 2015 and 2016. He piloted this same truck to consecutive campaigns of 11 and 13 Top-10 finishes. It's that potential that makes this an intriguing team for the upcoming season. However, any success is going to be directly tied to whatever free agent driver they sign to pilot the team's truck. - February Update - Snider has signed to race the full season with ThorSport in the No. 13 Ford truck.
