Jarrad Branthwaite

Injury Hamstring
Est. Return 10/5/2025
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Branthwaite is coming off another solid campaign for Everton, one where he kept eight clean sheets and recorded one assist across 28 starts. He would have played more, but he missed the first three months of the campaign due to a nagging groin injury. He also missed the final match due to a hamstring injury, but that's not expected to linger into next season. Branthwaite, alongside his running mate James Tarkowski, has been excellent on defense the past few seasons, and there is no reason to expect that to change during the 2025/26 campaign. That consistency, along with being an active target on set pieces, makes him a solid fantasy option for next season.

Still not ready to return
Branthwaite (hamstring) is still not ready to return for Everton, coach David Moyes said in the press conference. "Jarrad's getting closer, but he's certainly not there yet. Hopefully we get him back because he's a huge player for us. He's a player who has big value and we have lots of hopes for him. I think it'll be a few before we're at that stage (of Jarrad returning)."
ANALYSIS
Branthwaite is still several weeks away from making his return from his hamstring injury since he hasn't yet resume team training. A return from the center-back would be a big boost for the Toffees' backline since he has been an undisputed starter in the backline last season. That said, until he returns full fit, Michael Keane is seeing a bigger role in central defense.

ANALYSIS
Everton will rebuff any approaches for the 23-year-old center-back, who should be part of the England setup when healthy. Even if the star defender has yet to make his 2025/26 season debut, Everton won't listen to any approaches for him since they believe the 23-year-old is a key part of a long-term project at the club.
